Re: Travel advice
Sun, December 9, 2007 - 10:46 PMyes... youll definately need a tent or minivan or something... otherwise youll be sleeping under the stars.
The festival is at beaufort, which is about 3 hrs out of melbourne (give or take a bit)
they have trains that run to beaufort everyday, with shuttle busses on the days the festival runs so you can get out there. The first time i went- I didn't know that many people down in Melbourne, and i pretty much winged it... had absolutely no problem finding my way from Melbourne to the party...
Beaufort is about 20 minutes drive from the site, so it means supplies, beer and other assorted stuff you need from civilization isnt too far away... they have showers and a pool in the town too, youll probably end up there a bit over the course of the festival.
Most of the info for Rainbow Serpent is found on www.oztrance.com its the main hub for trance activities in Australia. Any updates you should check it out!
Hope you can make it- RSF is the best festival ive had the chance to visit in the world, and only goes from strength to strength!
